Competitor Series Spearguns
The Competitor Series spearguns are designed for competition and
entry-level divers alike. A more affordable version of the Standard Series,
suitable for hunting around reefs, holes, and on the bottom. Each diver may
upgrade any of our spearguns. The Competitor Series has a slimmer teak stock,
plus a 5"(127mm) bungie shock cord for ease of loading. A rest tab may be added
for ease of cocking and for lower power shooting around rocks. The Competitor
X Models feature a new 3" cocking stock added at the end of speargun for
hip loading. COMPETITOR MODELS C-3, C-3X & C-4 HAVE BLUE WATER HUNTING
CAPABILITY.
COMPETITOR SERIES FEATURES...
- Two 1/2" (12.7mm) power bands.
Models C-3, C-3X , C-4, and C-4X have 9/16" (14.3mm) bands - may upgrade to
3
- Single wrap of line with Bungie Pigtail Swivel Assembly used on two power
banded spearguns - with extra wrap 3 power bands
- Equipped with single Hawaiian-barbed spearshaft for accurate shooting &
quick retrieval of spear from fish.
- Threaded spearshaft may be substituted with 1/4" up to a 3/8"
dia. spearshaft

Riffe Standard Series Spearguns
RIFFE Standard Series spearguns are crafted for all skill levels
and dive conditions. Each model features an extension at the butt end of the
heavier-duty teak stock for ease of hip loading.
STANDARD SERIES FEATURES...
- Three power bands
- 5/16"(7.9mm) threaded shaft with large twin-barbed spearhead
- Two wraps of line for longer shots
- Heavy duty contoured teak stock
- Cross-grain doweled reinforced muzzle
- Reinforced bolted-through muzzle on No. 4 and No. 5
- Contoured butt end for comfortable hip loading
- Accepts all RIFFE parts & accessories (except Wing Kit)

Mid-Handle Series Spearguns
The Mid-Handle Series is the most desirable
of the three series for blue water & close bottom hunting. The Mid-Handle
offers the maneuverability to swing around fast for tracking your game with
ease... Primarily a stomach loading speargun with the option of a rest tab for
hip loading. Specifically, the spearguns of choice for those serious blue water
hunters who pursue the big pelagic fish of the open ocean.
MID HANDLE SERIES FEATURES...
- Three power bands
- 5/16"(7.9mm) spearshaft, 3/8' (9.5mm) standard on Blue Water
- Three power bands standard (four with Blue Water)
- More Powerful models must be fired with two hands to prevent injury from
excess recoil
- Equipped with reinforced cross grain doweled muzzles
- Accepts all RIFFE parts and accessories
- Island and Blue Water built with bolted-through muzzle for added reinforcement
Riffe Metal Tech Series Spearguns
The
Metal Tech Series spearguns are the economical choice for diver's wanting a
mid handle type speargun. Designed with a heavy aluminum extruded gun barrel,
shaped the same as our teak wood models. Heat treated and hard anodized for
added strength and corrosion resistance. In addition to the silent trigger mechanism,
the Metal Tech Series offers a silencer in the line release, making this a truly
silent speargun. The redesigned handle is over-molded with softer material and
textured for comfort. Used only on our Mid Handle and Metal Tech Series (not
available on Standard or Competitor Series).
The Metal-Tech spearguns are now available in six mid-handle models ranging
from 32" to 62". These extremely quiet shooting durable spearguns give you The
Best of Both Worlds, teakwood or metal, it's your choice.
METAL TECH SERIES FEATURES...
- Lower cost mid-handle gun
- Heat-treated aircraft aluminum stock shape as other RIFFE spearguns
- Finished in black hard anodize for long life in sea water
- Uses same proven trigger mechanism as other RIFFE spearguns
