Freediving & Spearfishing Classes

Our classes will take place at the Blue Water Hunter store location and start promptly at 5:00 pm. The class is scheduled until 6:30 pm but may go longer dependent on student participation, questions etc. The cost for this unique class is $20.00 cash, per person and is nonrefundable. This minimal fee will help cover set-up, office supplies and utilities.

This class will be exclusively on-land, therefore all ages and abilities are welcome. Non-divers are also welcome due to the inherent gain from breathing exercises for anyone. The intention of this class is to introduce people to breathing techniques and breathing exercises that can be done easily and safely at home as well as basic spearfishing techniques, gear rigging etc. to help attract and land some of our local, Hawaii reef fish. Therefore, the class will be broken into two (2) segments: First, freediving and second, spearfishing. By breaking down freediving and spearfishing we will be able to focus better on each of the two most important elements to become a safe, effective and efficient hunter.
